If you like Scottish music, or even if you don't, the album Capernaum by The Tannahill Weavers is a purely awesome mixture of traditional tunes and modern mixes. The title song is particularly good, with lyrics from Scottish poet Lewis Spence and original Weavers music. I love this kind of deeply symbolic, allusive music.
Other favorites from this album are The Carls of Dystart and Ploo'boy Laddies, but the whole disc is great.
